OUR MAIN ELK CAMP IS IN UNIT 21B WE HAVE A FEW LAND OWNER TAGS WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN THE HUNT, WE HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS THOUGH OUT THE YEARS WITH A 100% OPP RATE AND A 80% HARVEST RATE, THE ELK HERD IS A GREAT AND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME AND SEE A LOT OF ELK, OUR CAMPS ARE FULLY OUTFITTED, WHICH INCLUDED MEALS, LODGING, 2X1 GUIDE AND LANDOWNER VOCHER!! If you are looking to harvest a beautiful New Mexico Lion than this is the hunt for you.  We conduct this hunt in the Lincoln Forest as well and have gad good success on our snow hunts with 99% OPP on treeing a lion.  We can also do these hunts on dry ground however keep in mind that success will be a lot lower and depends on amount of work you are willing to put in hunting dry ground.  We have experienced lion dogs and there is nothing like hearing those dogs howling letting you know your lion awaits.  We can start doing these hunts as early as Oct. 1 however, to ensure some type of snow for a better hunt we like to book these in late December threw end of February, but the season doesn't end till March 31.  We offer 5-day just guided hunts allowing you to provide own food and lodging and hotels are easy to find for these cold hunts.  We offer these hunts on a 1x1 basis as lion hunting is tougher than bear and having two hunters on same week is not recommended.  However, we also offer a call list where you book a hunt, and once snow falls we call you to get over here asap as this is when hunting turns good.

A note when booking these hunts, you are required to buy license 3-days before hunting and pass a small cougar test.
